These general terms and conditions apply to all bookings made on this website. We kindly ask that you take a moment to read them prior to making a Booking.
By using the website and placing a booking with us (the property owner / his/her representative) you (the lead guest) and your booking party (guests) agree to bind by the following terms and conditions as set-out. During your stay you agree to abide by the subsequent conditions as set-out. No contract will be valid between you and Villa Bordeaux in respect of any services or products offered through the Site unless and until Villa Bordeaux accepts your order by e-mail or automated confirmation through the Site confirming that it has accepted your reservation, booking or order and any such contract shall be deemed to incorporate the Villa Bordeaux reservation terms and conditions of booking. You undertake that all details you provide to in connection with any services or products which may offered by Villa Bordeaux on the Site (including hotel room reservations) will be correct and, where applicable, the credit card which you use is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of any services or products which you wish to purchase. Villa Bordeaux reserve the right to obtain validation of your credit card details before providing you with any services or products.
Villa Bordeaux reserves the right to change the terms, conditions, and notices under which the Content and this Site are offered at any time. We may revise these Terms of Use at any time by amending this page. You are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we made, as they are binding on you. If you do not agree to each and all of these terms and conditions please do not use the Site.

Legal Capability
Τhis Site is not intended for use by individuals and entities that cannot form legally binding contracts under applicable law. Τhe Site and the services offered by the Site are not available to minors. In this case you may not use the Site. You warrant that you have the legal age to surf, use or reserve a room on this Site.
If you are under the legal age (under 18 years old according to the Greek law), you may contact Villa Bordeaux directly for assistance.
You also warrant that you are legally authorized to make the travel reservations and/or purchases for either yourself or for another person for whom you are authorized to act. You may only use this Site to make legitimate reservations or purchases and shall not use this Site for any other purposes (including, without limitation, to make any speculative, false or fraudulent reservations).
Payment
The hotel is obligated to perform the services ordered by the customer and agreed to by the hotel.
If the hotel rescinds with good cause, the customer has no claim for compensation.
The hotel’s bills are payable immediately upon receipt of the bill without any deduction, unless other payment terms and conditions are expressly agreed. The hotel is entitled to render accumulated claims for payment at any time and to demand immediate payment. If payment is delayed, the hotel is entitled to claim legal interest for delay.
The hotel is entitled to demand upon conclusion of the contract an appropriate advance payment or security deposit in the form of a credit card guarantee or similar from the lead guest. If an advance payment is not made within the agreed period, the hotel can withdraw from the contract and claim compensation for damages. Please be aware that during the check-in guests are required to show a passport or ID and present the same credit card, which was used for payment. The card should be under the guest’s name. If the payment was made from another person’s card, you will be requested to make full payment at the check-in with a valid card, after which the previous prepayment will be refunded.
Online booking Services
Please check the details of your reservation are correct before you submit your reservation request. We will not be liable for any delay or non-performance of your reservation if you provide us with incorrect information.
The maximum number of staying guests per room is illustrated in the room occupancy details on the website. Where the person making the booking is different to the lead guest taking up the occupation, the person making the booking for you it is liable to Villa Bordeaux as the booking party together with you as joint debtor for cancellation, non-arrival and damages as set-out within.
Only the lead guest and the named booking party are allowed to use the property and its facilities, any third party visitors are only allowed access at our express permission.
For the prepayment rate — full prepayment is required to confirm the booking. The booking is non-refundable but transferrable under special conditions.
For the basic rate — no prepayment is required at the time of booking. Free cancellation up to 14 days before the confirmed arrival date. In case of no-show or cancellation within 14 days before arrival a fee equal to the 100% cost of the stay will be charged.
Payments can be made online / over the phone using debit / credit card as well as by digital bank transfer or cash deposit.
Kindly note all taxes mentioned in our package and final negotiated rates have been as per current Government regulations. Any charges in tax structure due to Government policies or changes in rules are applicable at the time of billing.
Guests Behavior
All guests agree to respect the privacy, health, safety and peace of all other staying guests, neighbours and the owners at all times. We reserve the right to cancel a booking with immediate effect if, in our reasonable opinion, guests are not honouring this agreement or causing a disturbance / nuisance to other guests, neighbours or the owners. Where this is the case Villa Bordeaux shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.
Check-in & Check-out
Guests must check-in and check-out by the times stated below;
Check-in time: 15:00 on the day of arrival
Check-out time: 11:00 on day of departure
Late check-out after this time can be requested subject to availability and will be charged at an hourly rate at the discretion of the hotel.
If you decide to check-out before you’re due to, we cannot refund the cost of the remainder of your reservation which you have not used, or be liable for any associated costs you may incur. Depending on the circumstances, your travel insurance may offer cover for curtailment and we suggest that any claim is made directly with them.
All outstanding charges must be paid for in full on check-out from hotel.
Disabilities and Medical Problems
If you or any member of your party has any medical problem or disability which may affect your stay, please tell us before you make your reservation so that we can advise as to the suitability of the chosen room. In any event, you must give full details in writing at the time of making your reservation. If the hotel reasonably feels unable to properly accommodate the particular needs of the person concerned, we must reserve the right to decline the reservation or, if full details are not given at the time of booking, cancel when we become aware of these details
Special Requests
Failure to meet any special request will not be a breach of contract on our part unless the request has been specifically confirmed. We do not accept reservations that are conditional upon any special request being met.
Children policy
Due to the particular construction of the Hotel (on the cliff), for safety reasons, the property is recommended for children above the age of 14. Children above the age of 14 are considered as adults, extra beds are not available, no cots are available. Younger children can be accepted upon request. All children staying at the Hotel must be accompanied by an adult and must be supervised by an adult at all times. Minimum age of guests allowed at the property is 14 years old. Booking requests that include children under the age of 14 require individual written approval by Hotel management. Please note that children under the age of 14 will not be accepted until the written confirmation of acceptance from the Hotel has been received.
Weddings
Confirmation & payment policy:
40% deposit of the total cost of the event – for the confirmation of the date 60% of the cost of the event — 2 weeks prior to the event.
Any extra costs — on the following day of the event
Cancellation policy
The deposit is non-refundable, but transferable should you wish to change the date, subject to availability with an extra fee
We reserve the right to cancel any booking and refund the deposit in the event of unforeseen circumstances out of our control.
WiFi Fair & Appropriate Usage Policy
Where WiFi Internet access is provided, guests accept to use this access to the Internet fairly and appropriately. We may monitor network performance and user usage in order to maintain a fair and high level of service to all our guests. WiFi is available in all areas and is free of charge.
The Internet access provided is intended for general use such as access to the world wide web, email, messaging, social media, light video / music / media streaming. It is not intended or ideally suited for heavy media streaming, online gaming, extensive downloads / uploads. Access to illegal activity or use of our network for illegal activity is not prohibited and will be reported to local authorities.
Damages & Lost Property
We reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card to charge the lead guest for any damages caused through the course of a booking by any member of the booking party. This includes breakages, spillages, stains, damage to furniture or fixtures and fittings. Any accidental damages should be reported as soon as possible in order to minimise damage and associated costs. Lost keys / fobs / access cards will incur a replacement charge per key / fob / card lost.
Any lost property, if discovered and found, left behind by guests during a stay will be held for a period of 1 month. While we will make our best efforts to reunite lost property with their owners we accept no responsibility in replacing lost items and encourage guests to ensure they have all their belonging before checking-out. We may offer to post lost items via recorded delivery at the cost of the property owner, otherwise collection can be arranged.
Smoking
Smoking of any tobacco products including, but not limited to cigarettes, pipes, cigars, snuff or chewing tobacco, is only allowed in designated areas.
Pets & Service Dogs
We accept pets under special conditions via request. Pets are allowed on request. No extra charges.
Our Right To Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel any booking without compensation, refund or reimbursement if the terms of these conditions are breached.

Villa Bordeaux accepts no liability and will not pay any compensation where the performance of its obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, other acts of God, acts of terrorism, fire or failure of electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, plant machinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Villa Bordeaux and its officers, directors, agents and employees harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorney’s fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Site, your breach of these terms and conditions or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
